I received an e-mail telling me that I should not give up hope just because my local L’Occitane boutique was closing (or has closed, I don’t know) and it was sort of shocking. That’s a big deal! Renaissance and Whole Foods are the only reasons why I considered moving to this place. At least there was a thriving vanity market!!! Well, there you go. That market is collapsing. Or, at least, people who provide such goodies in other, better parts of the world, no longer seem to think that Jackson, Mississippi, is a worthwhile location for their merchandise.
As soon as I can rid myself of my ex-wife’s legal traps I am going to hightail it out of here and find me a place where L'Occitane boutiques thrive.
